This Privacy Policy describes how HugMuninn Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Unleash app (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Definitions

  • Company — HugMuninn Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
  • App — Unleash, the fitness companion app available on iOS and Android.
  • Personal Data — Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • You — The individual using the App.

Data We Collect

Account data

When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address. This is required to create and manage your account and to enable data sync across your devices.

Workout data

Your workout logs — exercises, sets, reps, weights, and related training data — are synced to your account and stored on our servers. This data is associated with your account.

Crash and usage analytics

We collect crash reports and may collect usage analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This data is aggregated and used only for product improvement purposes.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the App and your account
  • Sync your workout data across your devices
  • Diagnose crashes and improve App stability and performance
  • Communicate with you about your account or the App (e.g. security notices)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

Your account and workout data are stored in Supabase on their European cluster located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.

No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

We use Supabase as a data processor to store and manage your account and workout data. Supabase processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement and does not use your data for their own purposes.

We may disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

App Stores (Google Play, Apple App Store)

When you download or use the App through Google Play or the Apple App Store, Google and Apple may independently collect data such as device identifiers, crash data, and purchase history. This collection is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Data Retention

We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Crash and analytics data is retained for internal analysis and improvement purposes and is not linked to your account after aggregation.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your data via our data deletion page or by contacting us directly.
  • Portability — Export your workout data from within the App.
  • Objection — Object to certain types of processing.

If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The UK equivalent is the ICO.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
